Course Location: Hastings Regional Center 4200 West 2nd St., Hastings, NE

Since this is grant funded training NLETC will limit the number of students from any one agency to two people. If you would like more than two to attend they will be placed on a wait list and added to the roster to fill the course if needed.

This class will provide operators with one basic, principle-based method of searching and building entry suitable for a variety of situations, up to and including high threat situations.

Our training is a hybrid American-Israeli system utilizing limited entry, segmented searching, and aggressive threat and corner engagement. Individuals and units will learn to engage threats from a tactical advantage in lieu of forcing a close range confrontation.

Operators will learn the following CQB methods:

Thorough clearing prior to entry with the speed required for the mission
Focus on 2-4 operator cells/ teams
Clearing structures with tactical advantage
Reducing friendly fire & increasing safety during CQB
"Bail Out" and "Downed Officer" immediate actions
Commonality of techniques: Doors, corners, windows, etc.
Basic movement through structures
Worst case scenarios - prepared shooters, IED's, solo operator, etc.

High variability of use: From dynamic to deliberate; stealth and hostage rescue; and street duty to tactical team applications
Simple skills for day to day and extreme situations
Use of Airsoft and/ or Simunitions in force on force exercises
