Lansky sharpener

Has anyone else tried one of these?  I've always been incompetent at sharpening, but I bought one yesterday and I was able to get a kitchen knife with an abused edge sharp enough to shave hair off the back of my arm.  I'm very impressed.  Someone who knows what they're doing could probably do a better job freehand, but for a novice like me this was the ticket.

I have the very similar Gatco setup and I like it very much. I can keep a razor edge on  my Benchmade  Griptilian easily
