Yeah, but just like th Ca$h for Klunker$....... when it came time to get paid........

Granted, the Bonus Army folks wanted their money early, but still......

..... moral of the story:  Don't Depend on Government.
The Right to Keep and BEAR Arms is enshrined explicitly in both our State and Federal Constitutions, yet most of us are afraid to actually excercise that Right, for very good reason: there is a good chance of being arrested........ and  THAT is a damned shame.  III.

I read about this in "Unintended Consequences" and did some other research afterwards.  Funny, they didn't cover that in American History class in high school.

The Public School curriculum does not cover a lot of things..... especially things that make depending upon Uncle Sam look like a foolish thing to do.....

Neal Boortz suggests that the Public Schools are designed to stifle initiative and self reliance, and instead turn out legions of Government dependant worker drones..... I think he's right.

Consider the words of a former president, one who pushed for government reliance.

We must make the children as unlike their parents as possible.
The U. S. Constitution doesn't guarantee happiness, only the pursuit of it. You have to catch up with it yourself. Benjamin Franklin
