Gun control advocates are called "gun safety advocates," which is an outright lie. The NRA does a lot to promote gun safety; anti-gun bigots do nothing but try to disarm as many civilians as they can. Terms like
gun control and
civilian disarmament, which are much more accurate, are not popular with many people, because we know what those terms mean, so propagandists use terms like
gun safety instead.
Use of the term
gun lobby is another example of propaganda. Most people don't like anything called a "lobby," because lobbyists are often thought of as people who unfairly manipulate the political system. You'll never see the liars of the liberal press use terms like
gun control lobby,
abortion lobby,
feminist lobby,
homosexual lobby, or any other group promoted by the liars of the liberal press called a lobby.
These are just two among a number of examples contained in just this one article. If a class is ever taught in the political propaganda of the liberal press, there will be multitudes of material available for examples, and this propaganda piece would make a good addition. Their predecessor Goebbels would be proud of
