I totally had to fight back the urge to ask if the friend she got the info from was Gary, but that would of been mean and hurtful, so I'm not going to do it!  Nope no way, no how!

See...that right there is a FINE example of sarcasm.

Like Fly said, it's hard to detect sarcasm on the interwebs.  What is meant as some good natured ribbing sometimes comes off as being a jerk.

Plus, a lot of us know each other in the real world, so it can seem like there's an "in" crowd.  But in reality we're pretty much all a bunch of dorks :)

I've met some pretty good friends on this forum and IMO it's overall very well run.

Yeah, but you are just saying that because you are part of the "in" crowd.

If you are a member of the NFOA, then YOU ARE part of the "in" crowd.   :)

That pretty much covers everyone here on the forum, right?

This forum gets a lot of traffic by the same people. I can see how it can be seen as a crowd but when you have the same 20(guess) folks it is a crowd. I am on some other forums that the intro pages you get ripped.

OP like some other the others say stick around keep asking questions and join the crowd. You have some of the best trainers in the state that frequent this site and the NFOA are the folks that fight the hardest in the state for your right to BEAR arms.

And the right to bear them as well! ;)

I try not to bare my arms much since I don't tan I just turn red and peel badly. :)

See, that right there is some fine sarcasm.

In all seriousness, he is very right.  I joined the forums almost 2 years ago and have mostly lurked and learned from the people here.  I have come to know a few outside of the forums and they are all great people who just want to protect our rights and share what they have learned. Yes, even the Dr. Pepper addicts.

At my age, in deference to the tender sensibilities of others, I try to bare as little as possible.

Actually, the previous post indicated fairly Good.

(Which would probably be more or less Fantastic+ on just about any other Forum.   So...Be Happy!)

So,  let's say you couldn't have a round chambered; by default, a person carrying a revolver would have to carry a completely unloaded weapon.

Seems reasonable.

It would also mean that no one named Chambers could legally load a gun, because any round loaded by a person named Chambers could be said to have been chambered (just as our economy can be said to have been obamad, and might later be clintoned).  In the case of Ernie a chambered round would suggest that the rounds had been loaded in backwards (and for you gun experts out there in the clique I just found out about, I submit that he could find a way to do it), so maybe in this sense a chambered round would be a bad thing, and maybe that's why they outlawed it, since our legislature knows Ernie better than anyone.

Now I see why a chambered round would be a very bad idea.
