Remember how ISIS seemed to just spring up out of nowhere, and more or less suddenly became a really powerful fighting force, capable of chasing the America-trained Iraqi army off the battlefield, and taking and holding territory. Many of these so-called refugees coming in appear to be men of military age; how many of them might have military training and/or combat experience?
We all know the difference between a radical Moslem and a non-radical one: the radical one will cut the head off an infidel (meaning you and me); the non-radical one will hold us down while he does it. And all the peaceful ones do is allow the radicals to hide among them, and that combined with the doctrines of political correctness gives them a cloak of invisibility. There are some exceptions, but this seems to be the rule.
Arms can be distributed to a force like this quickly and easily. Remember what happened in Rwanda in '94? A million men, women, and children were butchered in about a hundred days. Most of them were hacked to death with machetes. Rwanda had gun control, and all it did was disarm the victims. The military and police were corrupt, and did not intervene. The tribe committing the genocide, the Hutu, had militias armed with automatic rifles, rocket launchers, and so on, assisting the masses of killers who used more primitive weapons; those weapons did not come from gun stores, but when the mass murder began, somehow the militias were very well armed.
I'd be terrified if I lived in Europe, having been disarmed by a government that seems unlikely to be able to protect me (or unwilling). At least those of us in America have the means to defend ourselves. But at least at this point we lack organization. If an internal enemy is organized and we are unorganized, they have a big advantage. Add to that the fact that they would probably have rocket launchers and grenades and automatic rifles. We have a better military here, but we also have a very corrupt government. So I'm wondering if it might be a good idea for patriots to be looking into some kind of a structure, so that in the case of an emergency we could become an organized force quickly enough to defend against a threat. At least something on paper, along with lines of communication. Just something to think about. We could call organized groups of patriots committees of safety...
