4 Navy Seals captured the most wanted Al-queda in Iraq!!!  This is great!!!!  However, in the process of capturing this scum he ended up with a bloody lip and now 3 of the 4 Seals are being charged with assault charges!!

The Sailors were offered Captain's Mast but declined and requested a Jury Trial!!!!!!

These Seals should be congratulated and promoted for capturing this scumbag.  Instead, they're being prosecuted-total Bull#$%&!!!!!

Too bad he didn't get shot during an "escape" attempt.  Then he wouldn't have been able to file a complaint.

I would presume they're taking their right to clear their names and substantiate their actions by choosing a jury trial instead of a Captain's Mast.

The Captain's Mast would 'admit guilt' and cost 'em big time.  Not saying a jury trial would do the same but the jury will be made up of active Military personnel who know what they stand for and that may be a positive thing!!

Still, I think it's total crap that these sailors are being treated as criminals!!  It really wizzes me off!!!!!!!!!

Whoever is the scum that brought the charges has probably never spent one day in combat or recognizes the armed forces of the US!!!! (Basically a communist)

If these guys get convicted there will be  a **** storm like no other. I really do not see how they will. I am hoping common sense will prevail. But, in the event that they do, every vet, active duty, retired etc should be calling every congressman and senator till this goes away. These guys should be getting a reward in stead of this crap.

I have read/heard a couple of times that troops are now required to collect 'evidence' of terrorist activity in combat- since these are now criminal matters rather then military.

to put this into perspective: a bloody lip? as compared to 9-11? beheadings on video? americans burned alive, and being drug around? a-holes sending their children into crowds with explosives strapped to them? gimme a f-ing break. that'll teach us to show mercy, and alow them to live.

Our military men and women are being scutinized for everything right now. Everything they do is second guessed. It's sad and ticks me off big time. This how Dems/Socialistist treat the military though. No big surprise.
