Nebraska GSSF Matches
« on: January 11, 2016, 07:08:51 AM »
There is a website where all of the Nebraska GSSF (Glock Sport Shooting Foundation) matches, info, results, volunteer opportunities will be posted:

http://gssfnebraska.com/

Rockin' Thunder Indoor matches are practice (unofficial) matches for the GSSF indoor league.

GSSF Indoor League is held at Thunder Alley Lincoln Jan-Feb-Mar

We will have TWO outdoor GSSF matches in Nebraska beginning this year:
June - Heartland Shooting Park - Grand Island NE
October - Eastern Nebraska Gun Club - Louisville NE

If you would like to volunteer to work as a RO (Range Officer) at either or BOTH of the outdoor matches this year, please sign up on the www.GSSFNebraska.com website. You do not have to have any super secret Ninja certifications to do this, as we need folks to keep score, manage sign in books and also run the timers/run shooters. Why work the match??? Glock gives you a free shirt and hat, plus a free gift of your choice (ie Glock pistol mags, holsters, etc...) PLUS Glock gives away 1-2 pistols for each match you work just for the Range Officer who work the match to be given away by random drawing.

Great, make sure to fill out the online form to volunteer.  Basically I break it down to a Saturday a.m. and Saturday PM shift and a Sunday a.m. and Sunday PM shift.....  Some people work one half day shift,  some work both full days.....

You get your names  thrown in the drawing one time for each shift your volunteer for,  so if you work both Saturday and Sunday a.m. and p.m. you get your name in the drawing four times

The Grand Island Nebraska GSSF match dates had to be changed due to the NRA National meeting changing, which in turn caused Hornady to reschedule their large Pandemic match on top of our scheduled GSSF match.

New Match dates are May 14th-15th. We will be setting up and allowing volunteers to shoot on Friday the 13th :) Looking for lots of RO's again, last year we had over 40, and want to get that many again!
