An admitted socialist being popular with those in college indicates the effectiveness of liberal indoctrination in the government schools and through pretend news and entertainment media. Not trusting Hillary shows that there might be some glimmer of a spark of critical thinking ability buried somewhere deep within them. So maybe there is hope that at least some of them can be deprogrammed, though probably not until actual life experience adds its own education.
I heard a quote once that went something like this (I don't remember the exact wording or numbers, or who was supposedly being quoted): If you're not a liberal by the time you're 20 you don't have a heart, and if you're not a conservative by the time you're 30 you don't have a brain.
Since even Hillary can't answer the question of what's the difference between a Democrat and a socialist, there really isn't much difference between her and Bernie as far as policy: either of them will tow the Party line to whatever extent Congress will allow it, and civilian disarmament is part of that line. I can answer the question about what's the difference between a Democrat and a socialist even if Hillary can't: a socialist is honest about being a socialist; a Democrat is not. And that's the only difference. And it's the most significant difference between Hillary and Bernie: he's an old fool but at least a more or less honest one; Hillary is one of the most prolific liars in the history of American politics, and together with her husband she wrote a new chapter in the book on political corruption.
