Went this morning, bright and early. By 9am the parking lot was very FULLLLLLLLL all over the front, up close. Still plenty of parking room just a bit further out, though. It's a sign that this show is really popular. (Does Everybody drive his beater car to a gun show???)
Door fee is $7, unless you're military, a veteran, or LEO. Then it's $5. Told lady I wasn't active duty anymore (no kiddin'......). She still only charged $5 Buck$.
This show carries on in the TARGET store tradition: Neat, clean, plenty of big, wide aisles. Lotsa folks attending, but no pushing, shoving body contact like many shows.
Big, huge archery shooting area on the east end with about a million 3-D targets of all shapes and sizes.
Nice Harley exhibit with real Harleys. Plus the largest ballistic-pyrotechnic stand I've ever seen. Tannerite galore and lots of other stuff......who knows what it all is. Miles of fuse cord. Enough to bring out the "E" in a batfE agent.
One exhibitor had Springfield XD(S)'s in great plentitude. XD(S) .45ACP+Box of cartridges for $419, which seems like a pretty good deal to me.
Big kiosk of CCW purses for your lady.
Beards were plentiful, but not so magnificent and full as at the Fremont show.
Shooter was supposed to be somewhere under an American flag. Saw some big Rebel flags, but no big American Flags (after all, the show was in................Iowa). Didn't get to see Shooter. Was done, left, and gone before he got there and set up.
