GSSF Match Grand Island NE May 14th/15th

The Cornhusker Classic VIII Glock match will be held at the Heartland Shooting Park in Grand Island, NE on Saturday and Sunday May 14/15th.

Glock Sport Shooting Foundation matches are a great way to get started in pistol shooting competition, no need for lots of equipment, holsters, etc…. Yet very challenging for even experienced shooters.

Lots of prizes both random and performance! Last year the GSSF Cornhusker Classic match had 340 entries and GSSF gave away 23 guns!

Also still looking for some more volunteers to work as RO's (Range Officers, scorekeepers, etc...) for the Grand Island GSSF match coming up May 14th & 15th. You do NOT need to be a certified RO, we will train you and put you in a position that you are most comfortable with. Please email cmzeeb@gmail.com if you are able to volunteer.

This year we are planning to set up a "Practice Steel Plate Rack" stage.  For those shooters who want to do a little warm-up on the plates before shooting their plate stage in the match.

 The practice plate rack will be available for one dollar per run (Or until your mag is empty).  Every single dollar collected on the stage will be a donation to NFOA.


 If any NFOA members can volunteer some time Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, or Sunday morning to help pull this off it would be much appreciated.

 Volunteers do not need to be certified range officers, we will train you!  Simply need someone to run a shot timer, and make sure the shooter is handling the gun safely,  and another person to keep resetting the plate by pulling the rope.
