Three different clubs are having USPSA Special Classifier matches in the next month. What this means is that in one specific match, the host club will have 5-6 classifiers all in a single match. As such, if you aren't classified in a particular division, you'll be able to
get classified all in one match. (And if you are already classified, you have a chance to make a BIG difference to your classifier percentage all at once.)
For those folks who are new USPSA members, this is a great thing---particularly if you are planning on shooting a Level II or higher match this year (such as the Great Plains Sectional match in July at ENGC). To shoot a Level II or higher USPSA match, you
must be a USPSA member, and if you are unclassified, it takes you out of the running for class wins. So...join USPSA (which you can do online here:
https://www.uspsa.org/uspsa-join-renew.php ) and get yourself classified!
Special Classifier matches:
- April 17th, Heartland Shooting Park, Grand Island
- May 1st, ENGC, Louisville
- May 15th, Sioux Falls Practical Shooters
(Note: If you have just joined but don't have your member number yet, make sure to tell the match directors that when you register for the special classifier. Then,
as soon as you find out your member number let the match director know so that they can make sure your classifier scores count.)
