Colorado concealed carry?
« on: May 12, 2016, 09:58:48 PM »
Looks like I'm going to be traveling to Colorado to see grandkids after my daughter moved to Denver, I've been doing some studying on Colorado gun laws, looks like "NO GUN" signs do not carry the power of law unless on places off limits mentioned under CHP laws, no duty to inform officers, it looks like if you have a valid CHP local gun laws cannot be more restrictive than state CHP law?
Any advise from someone that travels there and is familiar with Colorado carry and the Denver metro area would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm also aware of the 15 round magazine limit and it looks like Denver has a assault weapons ban which wouldn't affect me, from what I've found Colorado has a 3.5 blade limit on pocket knifes, couldn't find anything on pepper spray or stun guns?

While I don't typically spend a lot of time in Denver, we travel to Colorado regularly.  I always check http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/colorado.pdf before we go.  There is a section on Denver toward the end  http://www.handgunlaw.us/documents/DenverLaws.pdf  As I recall, the only thing I had to adjust was there is/was a 15 round magazine limit.
