Medical classes
« on: May 30, 2016, 08:02:39 AM »
We have two upcoming medical classes in June. TacMed Basic June 11th in Omaha, 1200-6pm. This course is classroom only. You will get plenty of hands on practice with the newest commercial tourniquets, bandages as well as our new wound packing trainer.

TacMed Intermediate is scheduled June 26th in Tekamah, 8am-6pm. This course has nearly the same medical module as the Basic class with the addition of live fire wounded shooter drills on the range. Not sure which class is for you? Contact me through this forum or at swhittington@88tactical.com with any questions. Check our website for registration requirements.

You are welcome. I also have two LE only classes scheduled at the Neb. Law Enforcement Training Center Aug 2nd and 3rd. A one day LE TacMed Intermediate and a two day LE TacMed Instructor if either of those works better for you.

We still have a couple of spots open in the Basic TacMed class this Saturday if anyone is interested. There are no prerequisites or age requirements for the Basic class. You get six hours of life saving training for only $125. We will also have our custom spec med kits and components at the classroom for purchase.

In light of recent events figured I would bump this to the top for those who are interested.

I still have a couple of open spots in my TacMed Intermediate class on June 26th. Class is 10 hours, 8-6, $195, and will be held at our Tekamah range. You must have attended some type of advanced pistol training to enroll. This course covers the use of a basic trauma kit, bleeding control, treating penetrating chest trauma, shooting while wounded techniques, fighting from the ground, casualty rescue and movement.
