Active Killer Response training
« on: June 14, 2016, 12:26:13 PM »
You dont get to choose the time or the place. YOU are the First Responder. How will you respond before, during and after an active killer incident? 88 Tactical offers three levels of Active Killer Response training.

Active Killer Response INTRO; 4 hours
This non-gun response course introduces students to the realities of active killer events. Instruction covers mindset, awareness, basic skills, and medical aid. Individuals learn to apply enhanced Run-Hide-Fight techniques such as evading gunfire, impromptu barricades, use of improvised weapons, disarming, and group defense skills. Minimum age of 15, unless accompanied by a parent.

Active Killer Response BASIC; 4 hours
Students learn how to respond to immediate active killer attacks, how to defend an area, how to interdict, and how to move to an active killer using means to avoid misidentification. This in an interactive course that makes use of marking cartridges and other non-live fire training tools. Students must have an intermediate level of skill with handguns.

Active Killer Response INTERMEDIATE; 9 hours.
This intermediate level course covers the full spectrum of firearms response from the individual counter-assault perspective. Participants learn to respond to threats in emergency situations in the midst of innocent third parties. Education includes the “if, when, and how” of involvement, avoiding third party injury, and earning the shot with surgical precision. Instruction is a combination live fire and interactive handgun based course. Eligibility Requirements: successful completion of Active Killer Response basic course, or Instructor permission."

Just a crazy thought but here goes.... Some of you guys who do this for a living should consider a discounted class for anyone identifying as the LGBT community. Maybe starting with a really basic "never touched a gun before" fundamentals class / classes.  Might open up a whole new market of potential customers now.

Also politically it might make a really accurate statement. All other issues aside, we who support the second amendment care about all persons' right to self defense and self determination. By comparison look what the "progressive" party has given them: unfettered importation of hate and bigotry.

The Active Killer classes are very good!  I took one of these last January from 88 Tactical.  Not only do you learn a ton from the instruction they give, you learn a ton about yourself.  I definitely plan to take it again.  It could easily go on a short list of classes to take once a year.  I recommend it to all my friends who actively carry.

They do have a intro to pistol class. Perfect for the never touched a gun crown. Extremely affordable too.
