And Wyoming has three times, 195,  the second place D.C.

Nebraska is 41st, with 7.4 guns per 1,000 residents.

 the thing that throw that study off is one word, "REGISTERED"  sometimes they also go by NCIS checks, since we have a permit to purchase, we only get checked once every 3 years,

Every 5 years if you have a CHP.

Does the handgun purchase permit also enable you to bypass the NICS check? If so, it look like, in Nebraska, NICS only applies to long gun purchases by people who have neither a purchase permit nor a CHP.

I don't run nics on any ccw or purchase permit holder as a Nebraska resident assuming either is current. All non-residents get nics checks on long guns, no exceptions.
