Nah, there can always be something that will cause us issues. We still need to be vigilant as this is when we are expected to let our guard down.

Just wait, there will be a run on those and you can sell them at a profit. :)

It's not great because he won, it's great because she didn't.

The local gun store had lowers for $70 forever and you could get a bulk discount on multiples . The last time I went, the same box was $100 a piece, limit one. I was a steady customer, now they are in same folder as CTD.

I'm optimistic that SCOTUS will be to the right of center for the rest of my life now, and most of my kids.  Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been threatening to retire for a while.  Well guess what RBG... NOW you can retire!!!

Hopefully he's a good leader and doesn't lose the Senate majority at mid-term.  I do believe he'll be a better leader than he was a candidate.  I think he's smart enough to surround himself with a solid cabinet and trust them to do their jobs.

Meanwhile, Melania can be out back in the garden, harvesting all of Michelle's fresh produce.

Any head count on how we ended up in the NE legislature in terms of constitutionalist versus socialist?   I saw Chambers got back in so no big change there.  He'll be out for blood again this year with the death penalty smackdown.

I heard Ben Nelson say they gained 3 demoncrats. But, I don't know who. Who knows, they could be right of the "conservatives " they replace.

Well it looks like Tommy Garrett and David Schnoor lost. Those were two really good allies. Ian Swanson also didn't quite make it, he was so close :/

Last night was a great victory for America, and a great loss for the America-hating bigots of the liberal cult.

It was also a great victory for freedom by being a slapdown of the liars of the liberal press, who took their anti-American propaganda campaigns to new and more ruthless levels in this campaign.  They came out of hiding and showed their true face to try to get Hillary elected, and now even the most heavily-indoctrinated liberal dupe can see them for what they are.  This has huge ramifications, since the big lie machines called liberal media are one of the most powerful weapons the enemies of freedom have, and that machine now has less power than it had before.

America won a great battle last night, but the war is far from over.  We still have a lot of work to do to maintain and restore freedom.  At least now though it's doable.

Agreed on the "Surrounding himself with good people"  All good leaders need that.  It's essential.

My personal reaction to Trump's victory is uncertainty. That's better than the dread I would have felt after a Clinton victory. We don't know what Trump will do. (I don't think he knows himself.)

Agreed we won the most important prizes of all and still kept the House and Senate. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. America has stepped back from the brink of total destruction.

So is it just 4 more years for Senator Chambers.

Or does he get to run for one more term after this one ?

As for those mags  now that Obama and his Gun control threats are heading for the door

And if Trump keeps up with his 2A support stance.

a lot of people who bought guns just because of the scares might be looking to get rid of them.

A lot of people bought guns, mags, and ammo just in case, but the pre election prices didn't spike, so most were bought at a decent price,, DE guns was selling AR-15,s for $499, not a bad price at any time,  at least no gouging, and maybe some sales soon

I think this sums up a lot of what just happened yesterday. Everyone realized that the Clinton's "globalization" needed to be stopped and took the step to make that happen. It is just too bad that the parties are so divided they could not provide better choice.

In any case, the people put a wrench in the political machine. We must take advantage of the chaos. It is the best chance we have to "make America great again."

Sorry....couldn't resist...

Trump will be in the drivers seat. The House and the Senate need to get energized and do something for a change to get things moving. Trump needs to get the various Departments under control, rein their regulatory powers in and restore some "common sense" to government. Let us really have some "of the people, by the people and for the people" government!! Weed out the Muslim infiltration that has occurred, stop the social experimentation that is being done in the military and restore it to the fighting force that it is required to be. Those are just some of my first thoughts.
