How late can we register?  I may have that weekend free but won't likely know for sure until a few days out.

I think a few days before is fine. Check the Eventbrite link.
From appleseedinfo.org:

""We want everyone to get as much as they can from one of our events. Ensuring an appropriate instructor-to-student ratio plays a big part in guaranteeing a quality experience. For that reason, we encourage everyone to pre-register for events so we can plan and staff accordingly.

Please note that we have updated our pricing policies in 2017 and some of our existing literature may be outdated. Please refer to the pricing information below for all current pricing. Just a reminder that tickets to our events are NON-REFUNDABLE unless the event is canceled, although a one-time raincheck or transfer to another event is permissible.

As of this year, we will be unable to offer ANYONE free entry to our events. In the past, more than 60% of the free tickets we provided went unused, which kept people on our waiting lists from attending their desired events.

* Under 18 may be required to show proof of age
* An additional range fee may be required at some locations

Pre-registered shooters. Although we encourage pre-registration for events, walk-ons are welcome if space is available on the firing line.

Please Note: A small additional range fee may be required for all shooters at some locations. See specific location information for details and directions.

Check the information link to determine if there will be an additional range fee.
Check information link 48 hours prior to the event for any last minute information.
Pre-registration is important. It is important to know this information because Appleseed has to staff events so there is a good student to instructor ratio.
NOTE : Online registration ends 24 hours prior to the event, in order to process paper work. If you miss it, you can still register at the door! You should go to the events registration page the evening before the event to see if the event is sold out. If it is sold out only ticket holders are able to attend. ""

I went my first Appleseed in Grand island and it was absolutely excellent. I'm planning to attend this one as well. My buddies are also planning to return.

I really do want to make it to one of these... life keeps getting in the way... we are moving my wife's grandmother from one independent living building to another one across town that weekend.
The master has failed more than the beginner has even tried.

get signed up folks!  open spots on the firing line!
As Fred always said-  We need Americans to get off the couch and back on the range- we must again become a nation of Riflemen.

It's here!  Save yourself a little dough, skip the gun show, spend $60 bucks and learn to shoot what you have.

HUZZAH! HUZZAH! HUZZAH!
Day 1 - one new Rifleman and one returning.

JCady started the day with a rendition of Patrick Henry's address to the Virginia Convention and then the instructor cadre proceeded to mold a group of patriots into Riflemen.

These fellas proved a Rifleman can indeed, pickup any rifle and be effective.

Cayton made Rifleman on only his second AQT with a Browning Buckmark Carbine; a really neat little gun that, in his hands, will shoot lights out all. day. long.

Morris is a returning Rifleman. Having already made rank with a Ruger 10/22- once scoped and another with TechSights,  this weekend he set out with something to prove.  Having shot a 209 on his first AQT, he dug in and shot a 215 with a Savage MarkII BOLT ACTION!

Most all the other shooters are doing well and I suspect we will be handing out more patches on Day 2.
