« on: February 08, 2010, 01:20:44 PM »
Howdy all!

A few weeks ago I stumbeled on a web site that specialzed in the direct sale of older military surplus weapons.  I have since lost the link and for the life of me cannot find the site again.  Can anyone help?

Here is a pretty good page of links:  http://www.surplusrifle.com/links.asp
Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

There is always the Civilian Marksmanship Program.  Not sure if that is what you were looking for.

Not quite.  The site I had direct sold items like the M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, and I think the M-14/M1a1.  It listed them for sale by quality of the weapon, some going for as little as $300 and the one's on "like new" went for more than $2000.  I just cant seem to find the darn thing again.

Well that sounds like Civilian Marksmanship Program (www.odcmp.com) which is the same as www.thecmp.org, though they are pretty short on firearms these days.

Heck, right now the BATF/E is chucking out type 03 FFLs in about two weeks.  Snag one of those and the whole C&R world is at your fingertips!
