Every gun owner should take this course.
I just attended a US Law Shield seminar with Dick Clark on the 7th, and he said that she wasn't charged with a crime.  Given that this article is 1 1/2 months old, my guess is that they initially planned to charge her but the DA dropped it.

That said, she got really lucky not to get charged for shooting at a fleeing suspect.
