Are AR pistols considered to be handguns under the CHP law?

This is a great article detailing the characteristics of an AR pistol, it's designation and recognition as a Pistol and thus permittable to carry concealed

Thanks for the info. They need to repeal the NFA and make life simpler.

That’s funny, under the current administration you are going to be darn lucky if all AR platform pistols and rifles aren’t NFA.

Yeah, I kinda expect that a lot of stuff will be challenged in court and may end up at SCOTUS. Too bad these anti-gun liberal politicians won't leave us alone.

We need a law that says, if a politician writes a law which is deemed unconstitutional, then they must be removed from office.  That would go a long way towards fixing some of these blatantly idiotic bills.

Except, they'd be voting for a bill that removes them from office, which will never happen.  Their whole existence after being elected is to start a re-election campaign. Smfh

Gotta bring this back up. Since the ATF rule on pistol braces are going to be banned or NFA, Biden is now going after all 9mm pistols capable of holding 10 rounds or more to be banned or controlled by NFA registration. How’s that for a kicker 200.00 tax stamp for every Glock, SA or any double stack 9mm and magazine.

he used 9 as a example, but anything 380, 9, 40, 45  and anything else,   mabye like the klinton 10 rnd magazine ban
