Anyone else catch the OWH's Public Pulse for 7/5?

Kagan can ensure justice for all

The confirmation of Solicitor General Elena Kagan to the U.S. Supreme Court would add a highly qualified person and an important voice for all Americans to the court?s deliberations.

The Supreme Court rules on decisions that impact all of our lives on a daily basis. Therefore, appointments to the court deserve the most serious attention because they will have an impact for generations.

Kagan would uphold the U.S. Constitution and the law to provide equal justice and protect personal freedoms for everyone in the United States. She is a leader who inspires confidence and praise across the political spectrum for her fair-mindedness and insistence that all views deserve a respectful hearing.

We urge the Senate to examine Kagan?s record, listen to her speak and confirm her nomination expeditiously so she will have time to prepare and participate in September, when the Supreme Court confers to select cases to be heard for the coming year.

Emphasis mine.

This woman scares me (Kagen), given some of her writings....

Strange and scary... http://www.constitutionalvalues.org/

Not sure what Constitution they are referring to... must be of some socialist country, not this one.
Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.   J. F. K.

Kagan is the opposite of what they are talking about. She is a liberal leftist fascist. I think her record is clear on that. Her own words also prove this. "Redistribution of speech","not sympathetic" to the 2nd Amendment rights of DC residents, couldn't answer a question if government has the constitutional power to tell Americans what to eat, declined to answer hardly any questions regarding her record and has no judicial experience, basically authored the 1994 Clinton "Assault Weapons Ban", defended partial birth abortion (an overwhelming majority of Americans oppose this). She is a leftist loonatic who is clearly out of touch with American Mainstream values just like Justice Sonia Sotomayor who lied through her teeth when being questioned last year by the Senate in regards to the "Heller" decision. She said that she considered Heller "settled law" and that she would protect our rights guaranteed under the 2nd Amendment. But in "McDonald" she dissented with the majority affirming a fundamental individual right to keep and bear arms and argued that "Heller" should be overturned.
