The Right to Keep and BEAR Arms is enshrined explicitly in both our State and Federal Constitutions, yet most of us are afraid to actually excercise that Right, for very good reason: there is a good chance of being arrested........ and  THAT is a damned shame.  III.

I heard that interview yesterday, an interesting perspective hearing from someone who lived through an encounter where he really feared for his life.
It was really chance that he even had the weapon with him while he was robbed.

Kind of sounded to me like Pizza Hut felt guilty about fireing him. Not too many companies will give a severance pay to a low level employee like a delivery driver.

I consider it "hush money" paid out by Pizza Hut.

If it had been hush money, it would have come with a confidentiality agreement and you wouldn't have heard him on the radio.

Pretty common for the clerk, delivery man, etc. to get fired for violating the company policy against being armed. But you can always find another job...
An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.
