Barrel Threading

Again, having 3 more rifles need threaded I have turned to Fred Rangle at Omaha Gun and Machine, and this is a "Thanks" Fred, his work is flawless and yes was able to thread 3 while my Dad only had to be in omaha 3 hrs and he spent them at bass pro shops. And as promised they were threaded and the required flash hider timed to perfection. On a chance I was doing an earth google and I did not know omaha had a Dicks Sportinggoods has anyone done any type of business with them guys are they stand up or just another Big box joke.

Dick's has about the same selection that Walmart had about 5-6 years ago, maybe just a bit more... but not much.

I bought a Stoeger STF3000 16ga on sale from them last year.  The small staff at Oakview Mall is very friendly and personable.  It is small department that shares services with camping & boating supplies.  I buy some ammunition occasionally there.  It is rarely crowded with customers, but then sometimes you must look for a sales clerk.  They also have a decent awards program if you are spending the kind of gun-purchase money.

Local paper - they do a Sunday World-Herald about once per month.  If you join Dick's ScoreCard, they also email you stuff.

You may want to check out Sheel's if you have not been to one, located in far West Omaha.

Dick's has cut back on there firearm selection in last few years in my opinion. Not much more than a sporting goods store with Firearms dept stuck in a small corner.

Modify to add long guns only at Dick's.

Yup, that seems to be the on going trend of most places I just should have purchased a bunch of these guns when Wheelers went out of business. boy was I foolish not to.
