For God's sake, who gave Barney bullets?

Another great example of "the only ones", yet will quickly get swept under the rug........... And then the Chief will be testifying at Legislative hearings about how CCW permit holders will bring blood in the streets

O.k. - I know I can be a little dense sometime but after reading the article I'm really confused.  A cop responds to a report of someone throwing rocks at cars in the stations parking lot and he "sees" this guy with a gun to his own head (which it what it had to look like even though it was actually the cameraman talking on his cel phone to dispatch) and the officer tried to shoot him?!?!?!?

Is it standard policy for Des Moines police responding to a suicide to go ahead and take them out before they get the chance to kill themselves?

To heck with worries about CCW folks, we need to ban cel phones!

The initial call was for "shots fired" (the news folks believe that the rocks being thrown at windows were gunshots).
