Law-abiding Wyoming residents were big winners this week when both chambers of the Wyoming Legislature overwhelmingly voted for a permitless/?constitutional? carry bill. When signed into law, Wyoming will become the fourth state to recognize permitless carry, joining Alaska, Arizona and Vermont.  Similar bills are under consideration in other states across the country including Colorado, Idaho, Montana and Utah.

Seems to be a little worry that the Governor might veto, but the votes are there for an override if that happens

Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.   J. F. K.

THIS is a happy making thing!  I lived in Wyoming for a decade or so and its my choice for the best place on the planet to live.  Fantastic hunting, great tax laws, and the people actually like one another.  The only drawback is a smaller choice in employment venue's.

Now, after retirement....  :)

Unless this passes nationwide, there will be little reciprocy between states that still require a permit.

hmmm... they have about a billion dollars in their reserves, no state income taxes, good roads, good schools and now this new legislation.  Lived there for 10 years, might start thinking about another move west!!

Congrats Wyoming!  Hope some of those smarts spill over the border.
