Lobby Day Check in
« on: February 27, 2011, 06:48:23 PM »
I sincerely hope we can make a good showing for our inaugural lobby day effort.

NFOA will have some buttons for supporters to wear and show their allegiance.

There will also be NFOA patches and stickers available, all proceeds donated to the NFOA.

We are in the " Cobra Room" also known as the Ernie Chambers Memorial hearing room 1113, where we will be visited by Attorney General Jon Bruning as well as many of the State Senators we have all come to know as supporters of our efforts.

Then we will move on to the task of speaking with our own legislators and getting their minds right.

See you there!

Thank you to everyone who made it today. 35-40 members, the AG and a handful of Senators...... This was a success. And we were mentioned on the floor twice. (Unfortunately we weren't in the balcony either time)  :-(

I was very impressed by the number of people who took the time to show up today.  It was very encouraging.

I really enjoyed seeing many of you and being a part of the process. Thanks to all who were there.

I did get a chance to talk with the AG's "long haired guy" about reciprocity with South Carolina. He said he would see the AG of SC soon and would talk with him about it.

Let's do it again sometime!
