Maybe I'm missin' something, but she picks up 2 unknown dudes standing on the sidewalk and starts sharing with them that she's got a ccw permit, and then on top of that she shows them her piece and where it is in the car, and then on top of that she goes into a convenience store while leaving the dudes in her car.  :o

Well, that was really dumb on the victim's part.

Obviously she didn't listen/learn well from her ccw training.  Ya NEVER let anyone know you're carrying....in fact, I don't even let anyone know outside of this forum (e.g., at work, neighborhood) that I have a ccw permit.

She violated a cardinal rule of having a CHP, and she got what she deserved.

Sheeesshh!!  And that feeds right into good ol' Tom Cassidy's hands since he's no big fan of ccw......

At least Cassidy does not bad mouth permit holders TOO bad... just this guys incompetence.  I apologize if this guy is a member of our forum.  But leaving a loaded gun in an unlocked car unattended is incompetence.

Wear it, that way you won't leave it anywhere.
The Right to Keep and BEAR Arms is enshrined explicitly in both our State and Federal Constitutions, yet most of us are afraid to actually excercise that Right, for very good reason: there is a good chance of being arrested........ and  THAT is a damned shame.  III.
