I assume it's still a no CCW venue?  That just sticks in my craw.

It's not the venue, it's supposedly the promoter's insurance company's policy.   ::)

I have seen the application for insurance and it is a requirement. Funny thing is the insurance is a subsidery of the NRA. Can't even carry on guard duty.

How big of a show is it?  I'd like to go since I haven't made it to a gun show in over a year, but I don't want to drive to Lincoln if it's a small show or mostly black powder.

No table...

My Father in law has been very ill and I was concerned I may not be able to go, so I am just going to wander the aisles.

DE Guns will be there and I have asked to hang out near Derek and Kim's  table

The show has been growing ever since it moved from the fairgrounds to the event center. I expect it to keep growing as long as people keep attending. I would estimate it to be about 10-15% black powder items and other pioneer/mountain-man related things.  Just the right mix to be interesting.

It has always been an interesting show, and used to be  put on by the Rock Creek Renegades, ( still is I think) a few of whom I used to shoot trap with, and they were good people to be around.

I assume it's still a no CCW venue?  That just sticks in my craw.

Last year I went with a concealed handgun and had to go back to car and disarm.  Then, while walking through the show, I saw a man open carrying.  He had his shirt, which would have concealed the holster/handgun, tucked behind the holster.  It appeared obvious that when he saw the "No CCW" sign, he just pulled his shirt back and transitioned to open carry.  No one seemed to mind, and I did not see him being stopped.

Where has anyone been to a show that allowed CCW or open carry(loaded)? It is in the insurance! NRA is the one that does not allow.

 Looks like around 250 tables, should be interesting

I stopped by the Columbus gun show a couple of weeks ago and saw two people working different booths open carrying.

I OC at the Columbus show when working the front door.  The fairgrounds (Ag Park) is a no CCW zone.

You probably took my money from me then.  One of my old junior high teacher's was also working the door.
