Christmas Present?
« on: December 24, 2011, 10:00:07 AM »
Anyone hoping for or getting a firearm for Christmas?

I have to wait for the Friday after Christmas for my Sig 556 but worth the wait.

2 Form 1's in the mail to the ATF as a birthday/Christmas present/burning up my Christmas bonus.  So yes, kinda, in about 6 months.

Not a gun, no, but I got a SIRT Pro from my wife, so my winter dryfire practice should be significantly improved.  :)

Yes...I had to order it myself and I had it sent to the wife for wrapping.  Getting a noise cancelling headset.

I got a Caldwell Lead Sled and a big electric smoker from the spousal unit.

I got a MD Arms 20 rd. Saiga 12 drum mag from Copes Santa.   ;)

I got a Mossberg 500 (50780) for Christmas. Not a fun gun to shoot though, at least with the pistol grip.

I got nothing.  Next month however, should be a 1926 H & R .22 Special 7 shot, an upper for my AR, and possibly a 1911.

maybe...
It is highly likely the above post may offend you. I'm fine with that.

I decided to start on a kitchen remodel next month, so the wife and I passed on the Christmas gifts for ourselves this year.

A new island and quartz top will tap us out for a while. Thankfully I planned ahead ;)

I had a Cabela's gift card so I picked up a chrony today.  Couldn't get it to pick up my pellet pistol in the basement.  I want to get to the range to try it out but my shooting buddy (daughter) is home from school all week and she's grounded for being a little turd so no shooting for her, and by extension me.  It sucks being off work all week and not being able to go to the range.  Maybe if my wife gets a day off work....

Come out tomorrow noon and make her sit in the truck and watch. I plan on going out around 11

You could always re-gift it to me.  I know I'd have fun shooting it.  :D
