My #1 hits the range as often as I do. Yes, it’s a beautiful weapon, gorgeous wood and fine mechanics, but I'll be dammed if I am going to let it become a safe-queen. I once had a Weatherby Mk-V in 300WB-mag, and I had that in the field as often as possible. Sold it sometime back for more than I paid for it, just can’t handle the recoil in my old age and $60.00 a box (of 20) for factory rounds just made it no longer worth the beauty.
