Another good time in Lex
« on: April 30, 2012, 09:26:20 AM »
The machine gun fun shoot put on by Run N Iron last Sat. was a very good time. Lower numbers than the fall shoot, and no exploding cars, but great fun.
Lots of range work has been done, and it looks like more to come.

I put up some photos for those that are interested: http://photo.longernamer.net/Events/Runn-Iron-Spring-2012-shoot/22698502_JpxLpZ

It's a full dump of my camera - no editing or adjustment. I'll try to process them after finals this week....

Cool photos! I had to leave after lunch, so I missed the hotshot targets.

Me? I'm the guy hiding behind the Nikon.

I guess I can be seen here introducing a new shooter to an Uzi:

I spent most of my time over in the sniper house shooting silenced long range, as I can shoot short range machineguns any time I want.  Not much chance to shoot to 1000yds.  It is a good time with friends.

I belive that he is planning a general shoot in the fall that is not by invite only.

When I get my membership dues paid in, I am definately going to be spending some time in that tower. For me, its too close of a range to not use.

I am hoping for a CMP match out there some time...
I will check with him and see what the fall plans are this weekend at the GI show.
