Vintage military rifle and .22 CMP 6/9/2012
« on: June 05, 2012, 10:45:17 PM »
Vintage match starts at 8:00, CMP will follow at 11:00.  Trash talking starts now.  Drag out that rusty old Mosin and that dusty 10/22 and come shoot with us.  Lincoln Izaak Walton League, about 10 minutes east of Lincoln just off of Highway 2.

Jesse, you're going down!

Ok...remind me of the rules.

My Marlin 60 would be ok?

But my beautiful and accurate Winchester Model 52 is not?  Even if I promise to jerk the trigger?

Scopes or iron sights?

I've got a lot going on right now, but I might be able to find time for some humiliation.

Thanks,

Hey now!  I guess the Mauser got the best of you last time!  Again?..we shall see!

The 52 is too heavy but the 60 is perfect, scope or irons, we have a class for you.  I will have a couple of loaners with me.

7.5 lbs max rifle weight, 3 lbs min on trigger.  No fluted barrels, separate classes for irons and scopes.  We will let any rifle shoot, bit if it isn't "legal" you will just be in your own "unlimited" class.

S&W M&P15-22?

Hehe. Although this is a bit far! I may have to try to go to one of the ENGC CMP matches instead. ;)

Sure, a 15-22 is fine.  We have a regular who uses one.
