Hypothetical: Car Repair

Here's a hypothetical carry situation that came to mind today:

Your car is acting up so you make an appointment with a mechanic or the dealer to take the vehicle in for repairs.  When you arrive at the service entrance, you notice a Criminals Welcome (no weapons) sign on the door.  You're carrying.  You can't enter the building while carrying.  You can't store your firearm in the vehicle because firearms aren't permitted on the premises.

What do you do?

If the car is still drive-able, tell the manager your situation and give him the opportunity to make the decision...money or no money!

Ask them to take the sign down so that you can spend your money there and remove their business name from the list of unfriendly businesses in Nebraska.

And if you have no other options, concealed is concealed. I doubt they are going to pat you down before accepting your credit card.

Do what I do.  Stand outside of the drive-in doors and yell for assistance from a tech.  When they notice that you wont walk in and eventually come to you, explain what and why.  The guy behind the counter does not make the rules, but you can bet that the owner/boss hears about what happened each and every time.
