I decided to modify an old wooden cabinet to house all my assorted firearms, at least those that weren't lost in that tragic boating accident

While trying to figure out a way to organize the top shelf, i came up with what i thought was a novel idea...
Empty shelf with non slip rubber matting,
Add two desktop letter organizers,

And voila, you have a handgun organizer. Skip a section in between each firearm, and you have a spot for your spare mags as well.
The other side is kinda slick too. If you have PMags, insert them in dust cover first, and you have a 5 mag organizer. Works fine with steel mags either way, but you have to use the dust cover first on the PMags due to the wider base plate.

And if you get even a bit craftier, you can cut a thin piece of Lexan or wood to the right dimensions, and add yet another shelf.
Total Cost: $9.18
Just thought I would share a neat little thought I had with y'all.
