The only Turnbull I had ever looked at was the Ruger No. 1 they made into 475 Turnbull. Just so happens that I found a 1911 they made today at Cabela's, not in the gun library as a used one, but a NEW one. Some of the nicest bluing I have ever had the pleasure of touching. I went to Turnbull's website and tried to get some more information on it but could only find information on ones built with military slide stamps. The one we have is a plain slide version that looks like a replica of the first version of the 1911. Anybody have some information on this one? Seems a bargain at $1799 since Turnbull's site has the military stamp ones listed for $3895.
