Getting a lot of requests for people who took their NE CCW class elsewhere and now wishing they could get the UT Concealed Firearm Permit. There are 30 states that honor NE's Concealed Handgun permit. If you get a UT permit on top of your NE permit, you will have coverage in 37 total states. See this page for a breakdown of the states:

I am tentatively planning a Tuesday night UT only CCW class in West Omaha. Here is some basic info:

When: Tuesday January 29th, 2013 5pm-9pm
Where: 120th & Pacific area
Cost: $50

There is no range time, no test. It will be a good, interesting and informative class.

This reminds me...i need to get my Utah permit paperwork sent out.

I took the class tonight, and it was great. This was much better than the Nebraska class I took over two years ago from another instructor. I was satisfied with that earlier course, Chris is just that good of an instructor.

I apparently don't watch the NFOA boards close enough cuz I totally missed this and only found out while watching the Ch6 news last night -- great spot btw. So... if you do ever decide to offer this class again I'd be all over it.

Just to clarify that was not my class or my training company on the news last night. I will not allow news crews or reporters into my classes for the purpose of getting free promotion on TV. They often call me asking to come in to a class or for comments/quotes... I do not trust them to report accurately, so I politely decline their requests.

I would rather respect the privacy of my students :-)

Would you permit an Iowa CHL permit holder to attend your Utah class or must the student hold a Nebraska CHL to attend?

Yes an IA permit holder can attend the class. I will let a non permit holder attend the class........ The attendee just needs to understand they cannot get a UT permit until they have their home states permit..... (Unless of course they live somewhere like Illinois, then they can't get a home permit, and are exempt)

He was the one who planted the glove during the OJ case....at least that's the rumor....
