Amen to that. Omaha Scheels has had a ton of them for $25 each. Thought of getting them and selling them to crazies on gunbroker for $40 but decided I didn't want to be a price manipulating jerk.

I get tickled a the "limit of 4".  Wal Mart pulled that crap on Ammo during the Obama Gun Scare of '08.  When I inquired then....it allows fairness to other customers.  Funny how capitalism works.....

I think $25 is actually pretty close to what Scheels has always sold them for.  They've always been overpriced on those, IIRC.

they were around $19 previously.
It is highly likely the above post may offend you. I'm fine with that.

A fella on a FB page said his local shop will only sell ONE (that 's 1, Uno) 50 round box of .223 to each customer, ever. not per day, per week/ month. ONE BOX!  Guess he doesn't want people hording it. WTH? As one fella stated, from a business standpoint, I'd sell it all to the first guy to walk in with cash money.

There were 40 out last night at 8:00 pm

Now prob 80 hanging between two different display racks at 11:40 am

Four people all took their allotment of four in the five minutes it took me to type this

So deduct 16 from my report of 80...

PS --  Now minus 8 more

I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.  I carry a lot of ammo because I cant run very fast.

Sounds to me like buyers are pretty confident that they are worth it at any price.  It seems likely that the average joe gun consumer is convinced that these will become prohibited and are therefore worth any inflated price now since they will not be available later.

I predict the bubble will burst and there will be a bunch of NIB stuff for sale by spring.

I've been trying to catch some in stores.  It's such a weird sight walking into the Scheels gun department these days.  So much empty space.
