Yes, it's fun.  Yes, it's legal.  Yes, it's expensive.

There are recipes for "home-brew" tannerite that are a bit cheaper.  I would not use it at a crowded range or near other people.  Your local sheriff may question the legality.

I'd rather spend the $$$ on ammo.
