Lee Auto disk questions
« on: March 08, 2013, 05:38:14 AM »
Anybody familiar with the Auto disk or Auto disk pro?  Is one better than the other?  I will be reloading 9mm, possibly 357 in the future.

Thanks for any input :)

I use the pro model on my pro 1000 progressive and I had it running smoothly in just a few minutes.  I'm running win 231 for 9 Luger and it has run without error for about 3000 cases.  Super consistent charge drop. YMMV

I have the standard Auto Disk on a Lee 4 hole turret for 9mm.  No complaints.  It takes a little fiddling to get it set to the charge you want, but after that it just works.

bk, the Auto disk does throw a consistent charge.  I'm anew reloader, and have only a few hundred rounds under the belt, but the weight have never varied more than .1 grain, and rarely at that.

The spring return doesn't always return the disk like it should.  I don't recall the adjustment process on this. Any ideas? :-[

I'm not sure on the spring return, mine has never needed adjustment.
