FIRST – My general statement – and this IS my personal opinion. If YOU don’t have skin in the game (meaning time and/or money), YOU have LESS RIGHT to complain. You are still entitled to your opinions.
Basically, money talks, BS walks …lol…Volunteer - a person who voluntarily offers time of himself or herself for a service or undertaking who
performs a service willingly and “without pay” such as all members of the NFOA. The NFOA is an ALL volunteer organization, which is FREE to join.
Donation - the making of a gift especially to a charity or public institution, a free contribution and/or GIFT. All organizations need monetary funds to function. That’s just a well-known fact of life. That being said, DONATE to the NFOA monthly.
SUPPORT “YOUR” NFOA WITH A CONTINUOUS MONTHLY DONATION. Your continuous monthly donation can be as little as ONE dollar or as much as you can afford without impacting your 2nd amendment FREEDOM provided lifestyle.
Personally, IMO, I feel a $5 or $10 a month donation isn’t too much to ask every NFOA member for as a “continuous” monthly cash donation. It is especially important to donate at this point in time, when our 2nd amendment rights are under attack.
ALL NFOA funds are spent in Nebraska, and for Nebraska, supporting our Nebraska NFOA legislative agenda.
Plain and simple to understand! No money, No honey. (In this case, honey is protecting and productive 2nd amendment legislation).
Think about it: If you ARE PERSONALLY NOT willing to donate time or money for important ideals you personally believe in, like our 2nd amendment, what good are you for ANY organization?
Having someone do something for nothing for you only lasts for a limited amount of time unless they are really, really dedicated people.
My hat goes off to all our NFOA volunteers who keep the NFOA functioning and running strong ON THEIR DIME.[/b]
If for any reason, you are personally NOT happy with the way the NFOA is run or doing legislative business feel free to volunteer. Please step up to the plate with your ideas, time, and especially your money. We welcome them all.

We all joined the NFOA because of the important work the board selflessly does to protect our rights both locally and nationally. If each of the forum members commits to $1 each month (ONLY $12 a year), that would be over $16,800 a year. If every full NFOA member would commit to a measly dollar per month, the NFOA board would be able to do even more with better than $69,540 each year. That is JUST an average of $1 per person. What if we can get the average up even higher?

When we say "commit", we don't mean donate today with the intent of donating again each month. What we mean is that we all set up a AUTOMATIC monthly donation.
Come on! You can afford to commit to donating something every month! $5, $10, $20...something! Show your support for an organization that makes a difference. Even if you can only afford $1 or $2 a month, then do it. Anything you can donate will help protect our rights.
