Training Transfer
« on: March 15, 2013, 07:28:03 PM »
Hello NFOA!

I'm about to relocate to Lincoln from Oklahoma and was researching a Nebraska CCL.  I did find where they will waive the 180 day residency requirement since I already have a CCL, but I haven't found anything on whether they will accept the training requirement.  Oklahoma does require training before issuing a license, and it has been within the past 3 years, but the state keeps the original certificate when you apply.

Will Nebraska accept Oklahoma's license for training, since it has an identical requirement?

Thanks, and I look forward to discussing more on these forums.

NO- Nebraska requires a specific curriculum, approved by the state patrol and  taught by  state certified instructors
