April 2013 USPSA match at ENGC...
« on: March 27, 2013, 01:41:04 PM »
I know, it isn't for a couple of weeks---I just wanted to let you know what the classifier was going to be, so you can get yourself prepared.

Match:  April 7th, Eastern Nebraska Gun Club
Setup starts at 7:15am (please come help set up!), registration CLOSES at 8:40, shooter's meeting starts at 9am, and we start shooting right after that.  5 stages, one of which is a classifier this month.  $18 for the match.

Here's the classifier:  06-06, Golden Bullet Standards
http://www.uspsa.org/classifiers/06-06.pdf

Two strings, each string is 6 shots, reload, 6 shots.  (24 shots total on the stage).  Virginia count (so no extra shots!), 120 points. Farthest target is 30 feet, near targets are 21 feet.
  • String 1: draw, one shot per target freestyle, mandatory reload, then again one shot per target strong hand only.
  • String 2: draw, one shot per target freestyle, mandatory reload, then again one shot per target weak hand only.
No no-shoot targets (yay!) but the two close targets DO have some hardcover.

So work on your SHO and WHO skills in the next week and a half!

See you at the range...

Why of course I have.
Actually, I have been doing a lot of dry fire (including wall drills, ahem; properly done wall drills). It showed on the today's classifier, I am not sure how I did on the rest of the match, but I know I did well for me on that stage. All about improvement.

Well, I'm glad that SOMEONE had a good classifier.

I, on the other hand, ran it REALLY FAST---which, unfortunately, is not the same as "really well."  [sigh]

Good to see the 54 people who showed up and shot!  Results are up at:
