Yes, the RYG crew has revamped the set up so that they only need ranges 2 and 3 to run their match. As they run folks through the pistol match through out the day one can do that match after ours if they want to. Things are starting to get crowded on some weekends as we have added new events for the summer months.

GSD, you in a Sporterized Class?  I may have to show up with the ol .........

Sporterized rifles are fine as long as they were originally a military rifle.  The classes are split up by sights - original sights, aftermarket sights, and optics.

I would like to attend but I'm torn. WWGC's range clean up day is the 13th. I should probably help with the clean up.

I'll defer to Ray since this match is his baby.

Bump...match is still on despite the rain.  We shoot off a covered concrete pad and have people to run targets down range, so no worries there.  If anyone wants to shoot but doesn't have an appropriate rifle let me know and you can borrow one of mine.  Just bring some .303 or 7.62x54 ammo.

Trying to decide whether to go with my standard jacketed loads or my new el cheapo cast boolits specials.  Maybe I'll load up both if I have time tonight and see which shoots best tomorrow. Bench testing is one thing, but testing from actual shooting positions is a whole different ball game.  My Enfield is more accurate from the bench but I shoot my M39 better from positions.

[sigh]  I've got to buy a Garand.

(Not sure when I'd find time to practice with it---but I should have a Garand.)
