I would like to attend, but that day is my anniversary and if I went the spousal unit would perform an "operation" of a different kind on me.

One question...will the black face paint be provided, or should we bring our own?

Disregard. I re-read the original post and realized it was "covert" operators. My bad.

Just a note:  I'm only taking the first 10 people who sign up for this, because quite frankly I want a fun little seminar, not a huge stand-around-waiting sort of thing.

This seminar is pistol-only---just wanted to make sure everyone knows that.  If people end up liking the format and types of skill tests, I might run more including carbines and (maybe) shotguns. (Bleh.)

Serious for a moment:  We'll be discussing a specific skill or set of skills, running some drills to get you familiar with the skill, then testing you on it (and yes, having you show you are better than everyone else---because stress is a great teacher).  The skills we will be working are all direct defensive shooting skills (well, okay, one or two won't be, but the rest will), because in addition to having fun, we want you to think seriously about your defensive carry/defense modes.

Back to normal:  This will be the ULTIMATE TACTICAL TRAINING!  BE THERE, or be one of those wannabe tough guys who just shoot competitions that don't mean anything!

Even RICK TAYLOR, the WORLD'S GREATEST TACTICAL INSTRUCTOR, will be impressed that you attended this seminar.

Pfffttt, covert tactical is for wannabes and mall ninjas. I'm going full on OVERT tactical.

Time to show all those punk gamers how it's done. ;)

All the tactics. All the cool. All the tacticool.

What's the end time for the class?

And if I spray paint the words "Blackhawk" and "5.11 Tactical" somewhere on my gear (in tactical flat black paint, of course) will I be able to shoot in the black-out division with the other tacticools?

Hey dumbass, read the original post.  It starts at 9am and lasts about 3-3.5 hours (so noon or noon:30).

Some people just can't read...

Some people just can't read...

Some people are busy being FULL-TIME TACTICAL!  Too TACTICOOL to read!

Reading is for squints.  Real Operators(tm) are people of ACTION!

A graduate?

(I have to admit I watched the video 3 or 4 times before I looked at the targets.)  :)
"It is better to avoid than to run; better to run than to de-escalate; better to de-escalate than to fight; better to fight than to die. The very essence of self-defense is a thin list of things that might get you out alive when you are already screwed." – Rory Miller

A graduate?

[snip the actual video]

It takes a special kind of place to advertise like that, and a special kind of "Operator" to have that be impetus to train more.

Ahem.  Back to normal advertising...

REAL TACTICAL TRAINING!  Be a Real Operator(tm)!

My Ops ARE Blacker Than Your Ops!  Take the seminar, and learn REAL defensive skills.

I'll be there. Finally a chance to pull out my nomex gloves, tactical goggles, knee and elbow pads, and IBA. I'm a bit chubbier than I used  to be... So no one make fun of me, or take pictures and put them up on the internet =)

Signing up now!

Excellent.  6 of the 10 spots are now filled, so there are only four spaces left for those wishing to learn to be a Real Operator(tm)!

(If people have fun with this seminar, we'll have another one with rifle and pistol----Blacker Ops 2.0.  And in THAT one, people will get to go Full Tactical with complete gear loadout.  But THIS one is COVERT Ops.  Covert.  Covert!)

I just signed my little sister up for it. We'll see if we can cook up some better ammo this time!

Hopefully I can make it to 2.0.  I don't have lot of tacticool gear so I will have to improvise.  Can I bring a tactical chainsaw?

Depends---does it look like this?

Or maybe, more realistically, this:

or this

But this is the one that's just plain wrong…

7 spots taken, now.

I've sent out some informational emails to those Designated Operators who have signed up.  If you registered but didn't get the email, check your spam folder, and if it still doesn't appear anywhere, drop me a PM.

Should be fun---except for one evil, evil EVIL drill/test.  Ask Julie---she'll tell you that it is going to be seriously traumatic...

Still have spots for three more people.  After that, we'll close it up.
