New Army Directive
« on: April 23, 2013, 06:38:47 AM »
What numb nuts came up with this brilliant idea? One of the reasons I left the military was too many morons (and yes I mean that) at the top of the food chain with nothing better to do....Lord have mercy on the USA.....

This is what they do when they aren't pinning medals on each other.

REMF's with nothing to do are best described as Charlie Foxtrots.
It is highly likely the above post may offend you. I'm fine with that.

Both of the Bible references talk about light in the darkness. The references appear to have been hidden as part of the serial numbers. Does anyone here have an Acog with a serial number on it? I'm curious if the civilian versions have this "Easter egg" in them?

I believe that Trijicom puts similar referances in the serial numbers of all of there products from what I have read.  It is part of their branding, it sure feels wrong for the Army to say that this was not part of the contract when I'm certain that the test models also had the same thing included in the serial numbers.

I was entirely unaware of this. You learn something new every day.

I agree that it is silly to scratch them off. I think it's pretty cool that they're even on there.

My question to you that have served: would being found by the enemy with a Bible in your pocket or a Bible verse on your gun be detrimental to your survival if you were captured? I'm just wondering if this is part of the Army's reasoning -- not that it makes sense -- just thinking "out loud" here.

Uh no.....they're gonna chop your head off and put it on a stick anyway.  From my personal perspective I could care less if my walk with the Lord is offensive.  It is simply PC run amok by a bunch of ner' do wells.....

As a non-religious guy, I still find this completely stupid and a huge waste of time and manpower.

It would be like me dremeling the crosses off my crossbreed holster.

Due to the track record of people being captured by these savages and butchered, I'll never surrender to them, nor be taken alive. You'll only be tortured by the thoughts of your head being chopped off for your family to watch on youtube.
