OK, recon complete lol.

First off, D&K is out of the running, as evidenced by the large "For Lease" sign hanging on the outside of the building.

The Beanery is small, but I asked the lady working there about a group of nearly 20 and she said they can rearrange and have additional tables/chairs they can bring out. She also stated that the normal saturday morning is quiet, with few patrons in the actual location. She simply asked that i call to confirm and they can reserve the space necessary.

That being said, I will ask that by the 22nd, you confirm with me that you are attending, so i have a much more accurate count to relay.

I did not see a Criminals Welcome sign posted anywhere in or around the location.

Parking looks to be adequate.
It is highly likely the above post may offend you. I'm fine with that.

To make it easier to obtain an accurate count, how about we do this:

Quote this and add your name to the list if you are planning on attending

Put me down for a tentative 2 or 3.  I won't do a quote until I can confirm.

Are you talking about D&K Cafe in Gretna?

 Gretna cafe gets new location

D&K Gretna Cafe has a new location at 20596 Hwy. 370.

Owners Diane Saigh, Holly Hummel and Heather Mowinkel moved because of plans to construct a car wash in the same building where the cafe was previously located.

The new location will have the same staff and hours: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

Is there a preference for others on the coffee shop vs. the cafe?

I'd vote for the cafe. I have a hankering for a Denver Omelet.
