Report of new Lincoln range to be built
« on: July 18, 2013, 04:44:45 PM »
The people who do the "Grow Lincoln" radio show and Facebook page reported this week that,"At 44th and Superior... a new metal building will go up that has indoor archery, pistol and rifle ranges, with offices and public education areas."

May be old news to y'all, but good news nonetheless!

Well sort of old news to those of us on the committee working with game and parks. That being said, we were just recently made aware of them moving ahead on the "Boosalis" project after numerous setbacks.
The idea here is a sort of YMCA for the shooting sports. A place for families to go and plink away and learn firearm safety and marksmanship in a controlled environment.
As some questions have come up, the G&P Range Committee are looking to gather some more info on the structure of this operation and will report back. Keep an eye out for our report.
