Open carry Long guns in Texas
« on: August 25, 2014, 10:19:35 PM »
People carrying long guns in Texas and seemingly none of the six people in all of Texas that got their panties in a bunch the last time are complaining.

Imagine that!

Hmmm ...

A new group calling itself the Huey P. Newton Gun Club launched armed self-defense patrols Wednesday with one stated purpose: to protect Dallas neighbors from police.

We believe we can police ourselves and bring security to our community, ridding our community of black-on-black crime, violence, police terror, etc., etc.

Nothing like bringing back a month old thread on generally hot topic, but this letter was published today by the CEO at Ares Armor. He is a friend of a friend of mine and has really great products.

His company was the one that the ATF raided in Oceanside CA because the ATF lied in the affidavit and search warrant request (7 different falsehoods that they knew to be false to be exact) and now being sued.

Support their business and you support a true liberty loving company. Plus they're really good at the online humor to make fun of the ATF and the rest of the "Alphabet Soup" departments.

This a build that I did and then slapped the Ares Armor Free Float Harpe Upper on it.

"Well-regulated" meant well equipped, trained and disciplined... not controlled with an iron fist.

Snip;

Why is it that the faint of heart feel the need to keep others in line with their fearful views of the world? I believe it to be a symptom of the malady that plagues them. They have struck together a creed and in that creed their thoughts are safe.

Their creed is of compliance. Their creed is of appeasement. Their creed is of cowardice. If they look and see one who does not follow this creed, it forces them to evaluate their own actions and their own thoughts. It forces them to look inside their own souls and stare their shameful nature in the face.

The internal shame of cowardice is lessened when all around do similar acts. When groups of ball-less wonders get to see someone who lacks their “reserve” it reminds them of just how shameful their fear really is.

They cannot come to terms and admit their cowardice, so they lash out at those who have the GUTS to stand for something.

The “Open Carry Activists” were vilified by the supposed “Gun Rights” people.  Their comments whined and moaned, “The open carry guys are going to get our rights taken away!”

Well, Armchair Commando, at least he is doing something! Your inability to lift a finger, save to click a mouse and type, type, type away… is not something to be proud of!
