I was pulled over last November for speeding on the westbound I L Q ramp from 80 WB in Omaha. He pulled me over for doing 5x in a 50 and for not signaling a lane change. Neither of which are really uncommon on that ramp. (Not making excuses, just saying.) My CCW permit was in the same holder as my license and he asked if I was carrying.
When ha came back he gave me a warning for speeding and a ticket for the lane change. A difference of 2 point less and about $50 less in fines than if he had ticketed me for speeding as well. He then gave me a court date of February so it "wouldn't interfere with my Holiday plans."
